  • How to Stay Organized with the HTC Sensation

The modern smart phone provides the user with many great features beyond the simple ones like call, text and email ones. A mobile device like the HTC Sensation is pretty much a mobile computer that fits in our hands and pockets. This phone has a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 768 MB RAM, 1 GB internal storage, a gorgeous 4.3-inch Super LCD display and a dedicated graphics hardware accelerator. HTC also offers a diverse range of HTC Sensation accessories, so whether you need a HTC Sensation case, a HTC Sensation screen protector or even a microSD card that can help you add more information to your mobile phone. One of the primary role of smart phones today is to help us stay organized without lives and this mobile device has all of the necessary features to help us accomplish just that.

Nevertheless, the HTC Sensation does not limit you to out-of-the-box organizational performance, and you can, in fact, get even more out of this lean and mean organizational machine by leveraging the right apps. A favorite of ours is Dropbox. DropBox is one of the newest cloud based applications and it provides you with 2 GB of free storage. DropBox for Android is the client and you will need to use your mobile phone to drag and drop any type of file or document. You can also access your DropBox through any Windows or Apple OS devices and can even purchase additional space with a subscription free.

The next type of applications that can help you stay organized are listing apps and notebook programs. Evernote is a program that combines both of those into an easy to use application. You can create notes by either typing or by using a stylus pen. You can also scribble with your fingers but you might not get the words or letter you wanted. You can also make a to-do list with this program and any notes that become part of your to-do list can easily be dragged over to the to-do side.

Note taking is a feature of our smart phone that we rely on a lot, but we don’t always have the time to write out the note. This is where an app like Voice Recorder is so handy. Simply press the record button, and then you can speak your note into the Sensation’s microphone. You can then transcribe the note into Evernote when you have the time, or you can simply “drop” it into Evernote as a sound file, which you can listen to whenever you need the information.

Staying organized can be pretty easy, however, many business men and women seem to have a great deal of difficulty with this area.  It can be very difficult when you have to attend business conventions and try to stay on top of all the business cards you received. For these people, CamCard Lite is a perfect tool that allows you to scan business cards. Once scanned, CamCard Lite uses OCR technology to extract the data (name, phone, address and so forth), and then automatically enter it into the contacts database. So you see, there are many organizational features of a mobile device like the Sensation. All you need to do is take the time to browse the Android App market and pick out your favorite apps.
